Miami Carnival 2022 is loading!!!

We are just coming out of New York Carnival, this past weekend for Labor Day in New York City, and it was great!  People were excited to be back on the road in New York in their carnival costumes from the various mas camps, like Sesame Carnival, Sherzel Productions, and Freak Mas, to name a few of the more popular camps.

Many will be wearing their carnival costume and glitter fishnets to Long Island Carnival this weekend.  The parade will take place on Saturday, September 10th organized by the SCCACA (The Suffolk County Caribbean American Cultural Association)  The details for the parade are as follows:

Long Island Carnival Parade route is N. 10th Street, Wynandanch, NY, 11798

Time of the parade is from 12:00-3:00pm

Festival will follow from 3:00pm-8:00pm

The SCCACA has stated on their Instagram account “You asked for more road and we are giving it to you!  2022 parade route is twice as long as last year!” Millennium Mas appears to be the mas camp in terms of offering a costume for the Long Island Carnival Parade this year.  Their website is www.millenniummas.com and you can check out a sneak peek of the costume here!

Next up on most carnival babe’s lists, in terms of places to play mas is definitely Miami Carnival and the long awaited return of Trinidad Carnival 2023!   Ohhhh I’m getting goose pimples just looking at some of the pretty costumes and can’t wait to see my Yetta Fetta glitter fishnets with those pretty costumes on the road in Trinidad and Miami Florida!

More to come on top bands and an inside peak at their costumes soon!  Til then!

Sincerely,

Yetta Fetta
